RELIABILITY TESTS ON THE NEW
30 MW KANUDI GAS TURBINE POWER STATION
PNG Power wishes to advise the industry and general public in Port
Moresby and surrounding areas that final tests will be carried out on the two
new 15 MW generators at PNG Power’s new Kanudi Power Station. This is the final
test before the machines are commissioned for service to supply Port
Moresby.
Test will commence from 6 PM on Friday March 25 and end at 6 PM on
Saturday March 26.
Load shedding is not expected during this period. However, call the
24-hour service centre on 325 6988 or 323 4774 should you encounter any power
outages.
This is part of PNG Power’s efforts to improve reliability of power
supply in the country and PNG Power thanks the industry and the public for your
patience and cooperation.

2. POMCCI BIZCENTRE
The POMCCI Bizcentre
will open in the next couple of weeks at our new premises on the
3rd Floor of the United Church Building on Douglas Street
right in the heart of the CBD . Staff will start moving over the weekend of
26-27th March and we expect the office to be contactable
and operational in a basic form by Monday 28th March
– the office is not expected to close at any stage . All
numbers (7100 3077 , 7200 3077 , 321 3077) will remain the same , as
will email contacts which are now migrating to pomcci.com –but both
addresses will work for the time being i.e. bizcentre@pomcci.org.pg and bizcentre@pomcci.com
