Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) Papua New Guinea’s one-stop business information centre

The Papua New Guinea Investment Promotion Authority, established by an Act of Parliament in 1992, is responsible for the promotion of investment in PNG.

Its focus is centred on attracting new investors to the country as well as encouraging existing investors, both foreign and domestic, to expand their investment.

As well as promoting investment and exports, the IPA is responsible for all business registration in PNG, and hosts PNG’s Securities Commission and Intellectual Property Office.
